Dr. Peebles: How does one deal with the death of a loved one?
Well, which
person are you talking about? We look here, we see millions. Some deal with
it just fine, glad to get rid of Granny once and for all you see?
When one would die upon the earth, there would be a great moaning of sadness
from family members and friends and others. Well, hallelujah for them! They
[the dearly departed] certainly did a wonderful job upon the earth of being
greatly loved, is that not accurate? Well, yes it is! And so when you are grieving
for someone that you love so very much who has passed, understand that your
sadness and your tears show that you care. How very beautiful!
What a wonderful testimony to the love of that person upon the earth. Pray
and give prayers of thanks to your loved one for having had such an effect,
a profound effect, upon the earth. Their job is really quite complete to have
affected the many rather than the few in that fashion.
Now we understand that there are indeed situations whereby human beings will
take their life at their own hand, and that is very difficult upon family members
who are left behind. For there are often times unresolved issues between you.
But, my dear friends, all that we can say to you is that you will have a chance
once again to talk to the dearly departed. You will find yourself on the other
side one day, reaching out to them and resolving your issues together. You
will find that you will come back together as one. But upon the earth remember
as well there is a relationship between life and death. There are no accidents.
Well, certainly yes, human beings can every once in a while miss a step and
fall down and bump their heads and unexpectedly leave their bodies they
had not planned it as such, it can happen. But even that is not necessarily
an accident. The way in which one dies is an accent mark upon that person’s
life. There is profound meaning to the way in which a human being chooses to
exit this lifetime. Realize that it is to create a resonance upon the earth
by which you can continue to grow. So when a family member for example, would
take their life at their own hand, it gives you an opportunity to turn around
inside of yourself and say, for example, “Goodness gracious! Perhaps
I should have appreciated them more.” Well, perhaps you should have,
and how very lovely that you discovered it! How very lovely that you have a
chance now to understand greater appreciation of life around you. And now,
to enact it, and to act upon your new understandings in this life is the greatest
testimony you can give unto the person who has passed the earth.
You want to rectify situations with loved ones who are upon the other side. “Daddy,
I wish I had said I love you more often.” Well my dear friends, take
that knowledge, the wisdom, bring it to life here upon the planet earth.
Tell Daddy you love him. He’s still there in spirit. But tell your neighbors,
tell your children, tell your friends, your pets, your plants, your Self, that
you love them too. Take the chance to take these moments of sadness, these
points of awareness, and to turn them into opportunities for growth. For that
is the point and purpose here upon the planet earth.
There are often times, many children who have passed from the earth have deliberately
incarnated so that they could draw a family of souls closer together. For those
of you who have lost a dear child within a family, realize my dear friends
the great gift they have given to you. And if there are areas in your life
where there are still ripples of distrust, ripples of disrespect between family
members, work within your ever lovin’ soul to bring the family back together,
to make the apologies, to have the telephone conversations and the exchanges
of love as a testimony to the great love of the child who existed upon the
earth to help an entire family of souls to celebrate love once again.
And so it goes, there are so many variations shall we say, upon this question that we do not have time here. This is the tip of the iceberg.
